we decades back, most of our prominent actors were working around the clock on multiple projects at the same time. As a result, at any point of time, there used to be more than one film of the same actor running in theaters simultaneously. Stars such as Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, and Balakrishna used to be so prolific in the1980s and 90s that theaters and fans used to welcome their new films even as their previous films were ruling the roost at the box office.
Nowadays, actors have become more selective and mostly work only in one film at a time. Most of the actors today only have one to two releases every year and sometimes just a release in two or three years. One among the few heroes of the current generation who is taking at least a 3 year gap for his movies is Sushanth, the grandson of legendary actor A.N.R., and nephew of Tollywood ‘King’ Nagarjuna.
